VBC Representatives Fight for NC Marijuana Bill

VBC President and Wilmington Chapter President Chayse Roth and Marketing Director Rob Rens visited the NC state legislature to deliver our support for the bi-partisan HR 711 The Compassionate Care Act bill which seeks the legalization of medical marijuana in North Carolina.

Veterans are often treated for PTSD and other service related injuries with opioids or other drug cocktails that have adverse side effects. A perfectly safe and feasible solution should be legal and accessible to veterans for medical treatment.

In Chayse’s testimony he declared “I have more deceased contacts in my phone due to suicide, than I have lost in combat over the last 20 years – that’s unacceptable”

HR 711 – the compassionate care act sponsors include Sen Bill Rabon (R) Kurt deViere (D) and Michael Lee (R)
